AMÉRIQUE LATINE was founded in 1979 by Ilse Luraschi, soon joined by Annalise Siegenthaler, both experienced translators. Over the course of the years, AMÉRIQUE LATINE has provided services to hundreds of companies and organizations carrying on their activities in a vast variety of fields. This has allowed us to build up solid experience and an enviable pool of references. Our company’s long existence is testament to the reliability and quality of our work. The AMÉRIQUE LATINE Team Our team is comprised of certified and experienced translators aiming for superior quality and punctual delivery. We also retain the services of freelance translators in specific domains, as required by the nature of work. Their translations are carefully revised before they are delivered to the client. The diversity of documents that we are called upon to translate – from simple letters to complex texts – relate to a wide variety of subjects. For our professional translators, specialized terminology research is of primary importance in providing our clients with an impeccable product. Our experience and professionalism are backed by computer-based tools as well as by an extensive library of technical reference material. Quality and price You want translations that reflect the true meaning of your message and the quality of your products and services, at a reasonable cost. Let us take care of your needs! The best quality/price solution is made possible by the high level of productivity of AMÉRIQUE LATINE. With the experience of our translators, our advanced processes, including Quality Control, and the use of appropriate technology, we deliver high-quality translations at an advantageous price. Service to large and small organizations In order to meet the expectations of all our clients, we have implemented business processes that are as rigorous as those of the largest organizations. We focus primarily on availability and turn-around time. We put in place back-up and quality control processes covering both our translation activities and our technological infrastructure. For example: • We make sure that we have at least two translators who are familiar with each client. • All our technology, for both voice and data, has been designed to avoid any single point of failure. • All our data files are backed-up twice per day and stored at an external site. Confidentiality is essential You are well aware of the ever-increasing need to protect your information
against all types of risks and you must not compromise these safeguards
when you entrust your data to an external firm. At Amérique Latine
we have implemented strict security procedures. All personnel with access
to your material have signed Confidentiality Agreements. Our information
systems are protected by state-of-the-art security measures and all discarded
printed material from our clients is shredded.
